The residents of the Khuvsgul Lake area gather for the festival, which is organized by the Governor's Office of Khuvsgul, the Office of Khatgal, and the Ministry of Environment and Tourism Mongolia. Besides Mongolians, foreign tourists also travel to see and enjoy the festival. The event involves international skating marathon and horse sleigh races, displays of ice sculptures, shaman ceremonies and visits by reindeer herders who make their way south to the festival from their northern taiga. Many traditional games are played on the sidelines, and this is an ideal venue for visitors to join in the fun and games with local people.
"Thousand Camel Festival," organized by a local non-governmental organization working to protect and preserve the Bactrian camel population. Day 2/ 01Mar. Flight to Murun, center of Khovsgol province and transfer to Khovsgol lake. Tourist camp. Meal: B,L,D
Day 3-4./ 02-03Mar. ICE FESTIVAL days. The festival will start with Grand Opening Ceremony of the Ice Festival and continue with Skating Marathon, car driving skill competition on the ice, traditional game of Ice shagai (ankle bone) and horse sleds competition driven by locals etc… You will enjoy with sacrificing ceremony for the mother "Khuvsgul" lake and king Khoridol Saridag Mountain. During the festival skaters will race for 200km in 2 days. The festival will finish with closing ceremony and bon fire on second day. Tourist ger camp. Meal: B,L,D

Day 9/08Mar. Visit to the yoliin am valley. Drive to Eagle Valley, located in the foothills of the Altai Mountains. The valley’s remnant streams create ice and snow formations and it is good to photographs. After lunch in Dalanzadgad drive back to Middle gobi. Overnight in local hotel.
Day 10/09Mar. Travel back to Ulaanbaatar. Shopping and free time. Dinner at Mongolian barbeque. Hotel Meal: B,L,D
